Life fails Songs don’t is a music blog/archive site meant to give exposure to older smaller bands.
Music is, and always has been, a huge factor in my life. I spend a lot of my time digging for new music across many platforms like youtube, spotify, and a handful of other music blogs/ archive sites as well. I share what I find with a smaller handful of friends but I’ve always wanted to show more people, the bands I find are usually pretty small and I feel like they should have more recognition but not just with their music but their history as well. Why did they become a band? What happened during that time? And the most important one, why did they break up? I try my best to answer these questions and any others that I have or think that other people might have too by digging through archives and doing hours of reading and research. I’ve found tracks that aren’t anywhere else on the internet, (One Way Letter’s Thrillerpart2) and I’ve gotten in contact with former members to get more info as well. (Firestone Elementary’s lead singer, thank you again Johnathan!)
These posts that I make require a fair amount of research that I will be doing so that I can not only provide the full discography for you guys, but a detailed overview of the band itself. It might take me awhile from post to post but I’ll be doing my best to get a consistent upload schedule eventually, this is a passion project of mine and I’ll be doing it when I can.
